A Great Day Out!
Fly down two exciting zip-wires each spanning an impressive 30 metres in length. Explore two embankment slides, one a 12-metre tunnel slide and the other an eight-metre-long open slide – placed on platform towers, connected with a fun rope bridge.
Be the King, or Queen, of the Castle in the large wooden fort. Swing until your heart is content on the cross-scales, bucket swing, and tyre swing or start your own band with our musical instruments. All set against the majestic backdrop of Bowhill Country Estate.
Kids of all ages can amuse themselves here for hours, and they’ll learn a thing or two while they’re here. There is a world of information about walks, wildlife, flora and fauna just waiting for you and your family to discover.
Opening Hours 2023
The Adventure Playground is open for the Scottish Borders Easter holidays (1-16th April) and then daily from 1st June to 31st August, 10am until 5pm.
Entry to the Adventure Playground includes entry to the wider Grounds. Perfect for exploring the way-marked walks, spotting wildlife and enjoying the scenery.

2023 Season Pass
Our great value season pass lets you visit the Grounds and Adventure Playground again and again during the dates above for one fixed price. Season Pass holders can also enjoy the walks in the remainder or April and May (please note all other facilities are closed).

Season Passes are available online only and return visits to the Grounds and Adventure Playground during opening hours (i.e. the dates above) must be booked online – please select “Tickets for Pass Holders” for each of the people visiting. Your card (which you will be issued on your 1st visit – from 2nd April) will be required upon entry. Season Passes are for the named adults only and are non transferrable.
