New for Bowhill this Autumn is the Friday Morning Ranger Tots sessions, bringing together outdoor exploration and an indoor session in the softplay over a 6 week block. It’s also turning out to be a great opportunity for local Mum’s to get together and have a good blether over a coffee.
Little Tots, Large Adventures
The nature-based activities are kept short to keep the little ones engaged and focus on getting hands on with nature, using natural materials to explore colour and texture, whilst developing creative skills using what they find through foraging. So far we have created leaf prints, built a goblin village and made bird feeders, with bug hotels, animal senses and a scavenger hunt to come before Christmas.

Soft Play Fun
After exploring outdoors the adventure continues in the newly refurbished softplay and this has been a great reintroduction to Bowhill, with slides, tunnels and climbs keeping the tots entertained.
It has been great to see all the cute smiling faces on a Friday morning and a highlight for me has been the gifting of a squirrel feeder by one young nature lover. This of course got put straight up, with some excellent footage caught almost instantly.
Find out more about this in my Squirrel update as part of the latest Autumn Ranger Diaries. Read here.
